Today we’re going to take a look at Sewing Machines Plus, a well-known repository for all sewing needs, from machines to parts and accessories. Take a look at their vast inventory for yourself by clicking here.

As usual, we’ve got a product review here for you, complete with transcript. In this review, Ken’s Sewing Center gives us a quick overview of what the Janome DC2014 Sewing Machine has to offer, detailing its many features and settings. You can get yourself one of these over at Sewing Machines Plus, or over at Amazon (where you can find more reviews).

Let’s get right to the review.

This is the Janome Ltd Edition DC 2014. There are 50 built in stitches. It is a fully computerized sewing machine. It has a speed control. Needle up and needle down. Autolock and reverse. Top drop in bobbin and it is a free arm. The DC 2014 has 50 built-in stitches. They’re fully computerized so when you select the stitch, the width and length are automatically set for optimal use. Rows 1 and 2 are your utility stitches. You have three styles of one step button holes, as well as three overcast stitches and two blind hem stitches for all your sewing needs. There are three rows of wonderful decorative stitches for applique, heirloom sewing and quilting. There are even four styles of blanket stitches. Simply push the slide to the right or the left to control the speed. The Janome Ltd Edition DC 2014 also comes with a hardcover carrying case.

Short and sweet. Enjoy!

Sewing Machines Plus Company Overview and Reviews

We don’t have an interview with Sewing Machines Plus yet, so we have a company overview for you instead, plus a bonus product review with transcript. In the video below, which doesn’t require a transcript, you can get a sense of what this family-owned company, with 40 years experience in the business, is all about.

And, if you click through to their YouTube channel, you can find all kinds of original content where they go over their various products and sewing techniques. There’s lots to see there. Until we get an interview up, we’ve added a bonus review of the Amaya Bravo embroidery machine. See below for transcript.

If you’re thinking about starting an embroidery business and you’re on a tight budget, the Amaya Bravo is a great place to start. The Amaya Bravo is reasonably priced and will suit all your embroidery needs. The Amaya Bravo has 16 needles which accommodate 16 different colors. A bit part of embroidery is caps, and the Amaya Bravo has an optional cap frame that is 6 inches wide and about 2 and ¾ inches deep. One of the biggest features that the Amaya Bravo has is a patented accufeed thread technology. Unlike most embroidery machines that mechanically pull the thread from the spool to the needle, the Amaya Bravo tension and feed goes through the accufeed computer system. Therefore the Amaya Bravo has no tension problem. It recognizes the material and stabilizer being used and automatically adjusts for perfect embroidery. Because of these facts we have faster embroidery, less thread breaks, softer embroidery and more consistent embroidery every time. With all these excellent features the Amaya Bravo is very simple to use. There is a step by step manual that is included for the machine and the software that is in both written and video form. It is an excellent machine with exceptional features at a reasonable price that would benefit any business. And remember, we’re always here to help you.

If you head on over to Amazon, you will find that Sewing Machines Plus is consistently highly rated and you can take advantage of Amazon’s free shipping on orders over $35. Amazon reviews can be helpful when making a purchase and many of the customers offer highly detailed reviews.
